I LIKE STORIES
Anything that's important can also be interesting. Too often we get lost in complexity & jargons, but I feel true intelligence lies in the ability to condense complex concepts and transmit them in a way the layman can grasp. Needless to say, I'm a big fan of science fiction, comics and nerdy memes.
I BELIEVE IN DATA
The best tales are told by data, but they need to be drawn out. Having spent tons of time dealing with large amounts of data, I've come to understand that data never lies, but it can easily misguide. And that's where the modern day data Sherlock comes in - to single out relevant bits from an entangled mess.
I TRY TO BE A REALIST
I take pride in what I know and do, but I'm aware of mountains of knowledge out there I'll never even come close to scaling. I used to struggle with the imposter syndrome often, but now that I know there's always a slope of enlightenment out there, I can somehow push myself to crawl through the valley of despair.

I'm responsible for Cleartrip's Middle East business, including the product, revenue & marketing strategy. My work revolves around managing the following aspects:

Payment integrations & partnerships
Ancillary services (flight extras, insurance, etc.)

I was responsible for leading analytics projects around the following aspects:
Budgets, forecast and performance reviews
Feasibility modeling for new store selection
Promotion optimization & CRM analyses
Ad hoc projects to build modules for staff scheduling, size optimization, & inventory optimization
I also acted as project manager for 30+ cross-functional strategic initiatives.

I graduated from IIT Kharagpur's flagship 4 year B.Tech program, with a specialization in Aerospace Engineering.

I passed my CBSE Secondary & Senior Secondary examinations in 2004 & 2006 with a net score of 94% in both, A1 grades across all subjects and 100% in mathematics.
